Our absolute favorite 2 player game! We loved it so much that we even ended up buying the super deluxe edition!! The game is easy to get into, different every time you play it and the art style is stunning and really adds to the experience.

Gameplay: Water is your most cherished resource which must be spent wisely in order to defeat the other player. Each player has 3 camps that they are trying to protect. By placing people cards and performing various actions you either try to attack your opponent or defend yourself. Both people and the camp cards have special actions that you can make use of. You can also choose to trash your cards and gain the benefits shown on them. Additionally, each player can set up a timed event or a raider attack that advances up with each turn. After the timer runs out the event takes place and resolves the action shown on the card. The players take turns going head to head until all 3 camps of one of the players have been destroyed. There can only be one to rule the Wastelands!

Replay-ability: The game has 34 camps to choose from. No camp is the same so you get to play with different strategies each time. Those maps are synergistic and offer great replayability. No two matches are the same! If you feel like you have seen all the camps and want something new, Radlands new expansion adds 32 new camp cards!

Overall, we love this game and every time we have played it, it has been an exciting experience! At no point does any player have an upper hand which makes this a thrilling head to head battle where you truly do not know who is going to win! We found this aspect to be refreshing as no player feels like they can't get out of a sticky situation. If you and your friend/partner enjoy some friendly competition definitely recommend you check out this game!
